The Experience
Are you looking for a special gift or just a change in your boring routine? Your solution is this Tandem Skydive experience from Golden Moments!
After a short pre-flight briefing, you will be securely attached to the front of an experienced instructor who wears a parachute built for two! You will jump from up to 12,000 feet, sometimes even higher! After leaving the aircraft you will spend thirty to forty seconds in freefall! The instructor is in charge of opening the large square parachute at about 5000feet, and helps you to steer it down to the landing area!
Vital Information
The maximum weight limit for Tandems is 16 stone (clothed). The minimum age is 16. There is no upper age limit for this course. If you are 40 years of age or over, or have an illness, you must obtain written approval from your Doctor on the 'Declaration of Fitness to Parachute' form before commencing training.
The Weather
In case of extreme weather the skydive can be cancelled and rescheduled for another day. Please call the location on the day to check the weather.
Session Length
The training for the tandem jump is in the form of a briefing from your instructor which takes about half an hour. The whole experience from take off to landing is about 25 minutes. You will experience 40-50 seconds in freefall and you will have approximately 5 minutes under the parachute. Please allow the whole day for this experience.
Numbers
This voucher entitles one person for a Tandem Skydive. Your friends can come along but you can also book them in and share the experience with them!
Spectators
Spectators are able to come along and view the jump from the ground.
What To Wear
If it’s a cold day wrap up warm not bulky as you will be provided with a jumpsuit to wear over your clothes. On a hot day a t-shirt and trousers/shorts are ample. Trainers are recommended, do not wear any open toed shoes i.e. sandals.
